Community Garden

Exciting news is sprouting at our church - we're planting seeds of faith and flowers of fellowship with our brand new Community Garden! Together, we'll be cultivating our connections, growing our veggies, and tending our spirits! Whether you're a seasoned soil whisperer or a budding gardener, there's room for you to root yourself in this green-thumbed adventure.

Carrot all about supporting this ministry from the ground up? We will need funds to construct raised beds, purchase soil, and of course, we can always use seed money.

We Are the Church in all the ways we are growing in faith together. Sow... Lettuce come together to turnip the love!

United Methodist Men

MISSION: To Help Men Grow In Christ, So Others May Know Christ.

Volunteers lead this ministry for the emotional, social, and spiritual support of men in the church and the community. UMM organizes quarterly events for the church ranging from providing meals, service projects, and church gatherings. This men's ministry aims to create relationships between individuals to provide avenues of communication, support, bonding, and friendship in Christ.

VOLUNTEER TODAY

Cooking Crew

Feeding people who are hungry is part of our identity here at FUMC Celina! One of the ways we feed people is during our weekly Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinners.

Whether you can purchase/donate groceries and supplies, prepare the meal, set up for dinner, and/or help clean up after dinner — we can use your gifts to help make this ministry possible each week.

Food for Families Mission

Food for Families is a mission of our church designed to address food insecurity in the Celina Independent School District. We have partnered with the counselors of CISD to provide weekend snack bags to over 120 children. Each week, children are provided with items like proteins, oatmeal, macaroni and cheese, and apple sauce - along with some sweet and salty snacks.

We believe in loving our neighbors. One way we put our love in action is by making sure that all of our neighbors - especially children - have enough to eat. We have several volunteer opportunities available for this mission.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers come into a person's life immediately after a crisis has hit and the provide care and a listening ear for as long as needed.

If you would benefit or know of someone who would benefit from having someone walk confidentially with you through life's challenges, please contact Stephen Minister Leader, Susan Cox.

We Care Team

This group strives to change the world by serving as Christ's hands and feet within our church family and in our community. Volunteers prepare meals, send cards, make phone calls, and pray for those celebrating life's joys and those navigating life's pains. Everyone is welcome to participate. All that is required is a caring heart and a willing spirit to share God's love.
