First United Methodist Church of Celina, Texas is located just behind the west side of the historical square in downtown Celina. We currently hold two worships each Sunday in our beautiful sanctuary: a more traditional but energetic worship at 9a and an alternative worship with substance at 11a. We see the world a little differently than the folks in the media and in other faith palces: God's Kingdom, here and now. But it will take a little work on our part to realize that Kingdom in its fullest... so we do mission work. Missions are not help for the poor, they are Kingdom revelation and creation restoration, and they help everyone... rich, poor, broken, whole... everyone. The church exists not to build pretty buildings (although we do that and it's not a bad thing) but to transform the world... or restore it to it's divine design and intent.
